Job Overview – Physician:
Advance your healthcare career with our client as a Board Certified Physician. This role involves providing comprehensive on-site medical care to patients in post-acute settings, acute rehabilitation, long-term care, continuing care communities, and assisted living centers.
Location: Mercer County, PA Compensation: $225,000 - $275,000/year
Schedule: Monday to Friday (On-call 1 day per week)
Responsibilities as the Physician:
Patient Care: Diagnose, treat, and coordinate care for patients, focusing on preventive care and health maintenance in long-term care settings.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with a team of Nurse Practitioners to ensure the highest level of care.
Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with federal guidelines and regulations.
Documentation: Complete medical records (EMR) documentation daily.
On-Call: Participate in after-hours and weekend telephone call coverage on a rotating basis.
Qualifications for the Physician:
Licensing: Current, unrestricted DO/MD license in Pennsylvania.
Certification: Board Certification in Family Medicine, Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, Primary Care, or related Medical Specialties.
