Job Overview - Physician Assistant:
We are seeking a Physician Assistant in the Pain Management Department. This role requires travel to multiple locations within NYC, ensuring comprehensive care for patients with orthopedic injuries and pain management needs.
Locations: New York, NY
Compensation: $150,000 - $175,000/year
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Physician Assistant:
Ensure smooth patient flow and respond to patient concerns.
Prepare and maintain patient charts and electronic medical records.
Document medical findings and treatments.
Perform triaging, physical exams, and medical procedures.
Prescribe and refill medications; order necessary tests.
Discuss treatment options and recommend healthy practices.
Provide specialist referrals and assist physicians as needed.
Qualifications for the Physician Assistant:
3-5 years of experience as a Pain Management Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
Preferred experience in pain management.
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License.
Must be willing to travel within NYC locations.
Worker’s Compensation Authorized.
