Job Overview:
Join our client's expanding medical team as a Pain Management Physician, and play a crucial role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with traumatic injuries and pain management needs.
Compensation: $300,000.00 - $350,000.00 Location: Bergen County, New Jersey Schedule: Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and diagnose patients with traumatic injuries related to bones, joints, ligaments, and other areas
Conduct thorough examinations to treat, repair, or improve the functioning of injured body parts
Review patient medical history, test results, and imagery to create effective treatment plans
Ensure patients understand their diagnosis and provide relevant information
Document patient evaluations, treatments, medications, and transactions according to company policies
Monitor patient progress during and after treatments
Prescribe, administer, and dispense medication following state and federal regulations
Share expertise with medical staff to enhance overall patient care
Supervise and guide Medical Assistants and PA's, ensuring compliance with regulations
Collaborate with management and administration to ensure precise communication of medical treatment details
Communicate extensively with treating physicians and surgeons to align on patient diagnosis, treatment plans, and necessary medical procedures
Address patient questions and concerns thoroughly
Advance patient care by expanding knowledge associated with surgical and technical procedures
Qualifications:
Medical Degree from an Accredited University
New York Medical License
5+ years of experience
Previous clinical experience in PM&R/Pain
Previous work experience in work and motor vehicle-related injuries
Workers Compensation Authorized
Licensed acupuncturist
Knowledge of No Fault and Workers Compensation Laws and Regulations
