JobOverview:
Join our client's healthcare team in Bronx, NY, as a Site Physician. Operating under the guidance of the Chief Medical Officer, this role encompasses professional, organizational, and administrative aspects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical care to CLHC/Day Treatment Center patients.
Compensation: $210,000.00 - $230,000.00 Location: Bronx, New York
Responsibilities:
Direct medical care and treatment of patients as part of interdisciplinary team
Collaborate with NPs on shared patient population
Identify opportunities to improve quality, cost, and utilization of care
Carry a caseload of patients as Primary Care Physician
Lead medical presence during start of care events
Participate in case conferences and meetings
Develop and participate in Utilization Review
Supervise provision of ambulatory services
Serve as liaison with medical institutions and physicians
Facilitate medical education of staff, trainees and students
Conduct patient assessments and examinations
Act as a resource for NPs, RNs and other clinical staff
Provide staff development and clinical teaching
Participate in preventive health and community outreach
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of medicine. Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice. Board Certification or experience in Geriatric Medicine. Residency in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or fellowship or experience in Geriatrics.
Licensed to practice medicine in NY.
Residency in Internal Medicine or Family Practice, Fellowship, and experience in geriatrics preferred.
Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
Diploma in Geriatric Medicine or equivalent experience.
No malpractice or loss of license at the DTC.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
