Job Overview - Physical Therapist: Part-Time:
Are you a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist ready to make a difference? Our healthcare client in Philadelphia, PA, is looking for an enthusiastic professional to join their team part-time as a Physical Therapist. In this role, you'll provide personalized care to patients, helping them regain and maintain their physical strength and functional abilities.
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Compensation: $41 - $47/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Flexible part-time hours
Responsibilities as the Physical Therapist:
- Patient Evaluation: Perform initial exams, evaluate medical records and doctor's referrals, and determine a diagnosis.
- Treatment Planning: Consult with patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Documentation: Chart patient care services in patient and department records.
- Therapeutic Procedures: Administer manual exercises; instruct, encourage, and assist patients in performing physical activities and using supportive devices.
- Patient Education: Instruct and counsel patients on therapeutic regimens, wellness, and health maintenance.
- Care Continuity: Develop and implement patient management plans to provide continuity of care.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to procedures, rules, regulations, and infection-control policies.
Qualifications for the Physical Therapist:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
- Licensure: Physical Therapist License.
- Certifications: Must have BLS certification.
- Skills: Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
