Job Overview – Physical Therapist (Outpatient):
Compensation: $45 – $60/hour (based on experience)
Location: Burlington County, NJ
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Provide specialized rehabilitative care as a Physical Therapist in Burlington County, NJ, working with our client in a well-established outpatient setting supporting patients recovering from brain injuries. This role includes direct treatment, occasional telehealth, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans. Ideal candidates are licensed in New Jersey and experienced in post-acute neurorehabilitation and CMS-compliant documentation.
Responsibilities as the Physical Therapist (Outpatient):
Patient Evaluation: Perform initial and follow-up assessments for brain injury patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
Therapeutic Intervention: Set functional goals and deliver targeted therapies to support recovery progress.
Care Coordination: Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and families to ensure cohesive care planning.
Telehealth & Documentation: Provide virtual therapy as needed and complete timely, accurate EMR documentation.
Patient Education: Instruct patients and caregivers on mobility, safety, and home exercises to support rehabilitation.
Qualifications for the Physical Therapist (Outpatient):
Licensure: Active New Jersey Physical Therapy License in good standing is required.
Certification: Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications are required.
Experience: 1+ years of outpatient experience, particularly in post-acute brain injury rehabilitation or neurorehabilitation settings.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems for documentation and communication.
Skills & Attributes: Compassionate, collaborative, and detail-oriented, with the ability to support complex clinical needs and contribute to interdisciplinary team care.
