Job Description

Role Overview:
Join our client’s growing practice in Brooklyn, NY, as a Physical Medicine and Rehab Physician. In this role, you will specialize in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with traumatic injuries and pain management related to injuries. 

Compensation: $300,000.00 - $350,000.00
Location: Brooklyn, New York 
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM

•    Diagnosing, managing, and treating pain from injury, illness, or medical conditions
•    Conducting extensive examination routines to help pinpoint difficult diagnoses
•    Creating individualized rehabilitation and/or treatment plans to restore functionality and promote optimal patient well-being
•    Documenting all patient evaluations, treatments, medications, and transactions according to company policies and procedures
•    Ensuring patients understand their diagnosis and receive relevant information
•    Prescribing relevant medications to help with patients' pain, injury, and functional recovery
•    Instructing patients on proper exercise techniques, healthy nutritional behaviors, and providing adequate advice and support as needed
•    Administering injections to patients' pain areas to help relieve pain and restore function
•    Being open-minded when discussing various treatment options for patients, ensuring all options are taken into consideration
•    Consulting and communicating with other physicians, specialists, and medical professionals to optimize patients' treatment
•    Monitoring patients' progress during and after treatments
•    Performing other related duties as required

•    Medical Degree from an accredited university
•    Active New York Medical License
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience
•    Previous clinical experience as a PM&R physician (preferred)
•    Previous work experience in work and motor vehicle-related injuries (preferred)
•    Workers Compensation Authorization
•    Licensed Acupuncturist
•    Knowledge of No-Fault and Worker Compensation Laws and Regulations
