Job Overview – Pharmacy Technician:
Step into a Pharmacy Technician role with our client in Mauston, WI, supporting medication preparation, compounding, and inventory management in a dynamic environment. This temporary role requires precision and confidentiality to ensure safe, accurate medication delivery to clients, including group home residents.
Medication: Assist in pre-pulling medications from the Beacon system, verifying NDCs, and labeling prescriptions accurately.
Preparation: Prepare and label syringes, compound orders, and accurately measure ingredients for correct dosages.
Packaging: Package narcotics and PRN medications, organize deliveries in blister cards, and manage unit dose medication returns.
Inventory Management: Update RX status in Framework Software, maintain route sheets, organize delivery totes, and ensure delivery accuracy with final checks.
Client Support: Provide assistance to clients from group homes, including prescription pick-up and drop-off.
Qualifications for the Pharmacy Technician:
Education: High school diploma required.
Experience: 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience required.
Certification: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required; eligibility for State Licensing as a Pharmacy Technician in Wisconsin.
Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, computer proficiency, and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
