We are currently seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician for a temp-to-hire position in Jackson, MI. This role is ideal for a candidate with 1-2 years of experience who possesses a "can do" attitude.
Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Location: Jackson, MI
Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday. No nights and no Sundays.
Responsibilities as the Pharmacy Technician:
Sterilize surfaces and equipment to prepare the pharmacy each day.
Accurately measure dosages and select the correct medication to fill prescriptions.
Sort, stock, label medication, and manage pharmacy inventory levels.
Perform tasks such as record-keeping and other pharmacy related administrative functions as required.
Adhere to all security measures and quality standards set by the pharmacy and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications for the Pharmacy Technician:
Must be a certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB).
1-2 years of experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Strong attention to detail, dependability, and excellent communication skills.
Must have full-time availability and be able to commit to the specified hours.
