Job Overview – Pharmacy Technician (Temporary):
Join a fast-paced pharmacy in Dallas, TX, as a Pharmacy Technician supporting overnight operations. This temporary role focuses on data entry, prescription management, and inventory control, ensuring accurate and timely medication delivery in compliance with pharmacy standards.
Order Processing: Enter physician orders and E-kit usage into the dispensing system with accuracy and efficiency.
Prescription Management: Assist pharmacists with data input, prescription filling, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Inventory Control: Manage medication orders, returns, and inventory processes, including E-kit maintenance.
Customer Service: Handle phone inquiries, providing assistance or escalating issues to pharmacists as needed.
Medication Preparation: Prepare and verify medications for facility deliveries, ensuring accuracy and adherence to schedules.
Administrative Support: Process admission paperwork and maintain operational records to support the pharmacy team.
Qualifications for the Pharmacy Technician:
Licensure: Active Texas Pharmacy Technician license in good standing; certified and registered with the Texas Board of Pharmacy.
Certification: PTCB certification required.
Experience: Previous experience in long-term care pharmacy data entry is a plus.
Availability: Must be available for full-time overnight shifts and ready to start within two weeks.
