Job Overview – Pharmacist (Dispensing & Compliance):
Compensation: $62/hour
Location: Chester County, PA
Schedule: Full-Time, Various Day and Night Shifts Available
Our client is hiring a Pharmacist (Dispensing & Compliance) in Chester County, PA, to support high-volume fulfillment operations, regulatory compliance, and accurate prescription dispensing. In this role, you'll oversee pharmacy workflows, collaborate with clinical teams, and ensure safe and effective medication management. Compounding experience and proficiency in PK Software (The Compounder) or QS-1 are highly preferred.
Responsibilities as the Pharmacist (Dispensing & Compliance):
Operational Oversight: Supervise fulfillment staff during shifts and assist with shipping and prescription processing.
Medication Dispensing: Accurately prepare and verify prescriptions in accordance with legal and clinical guidelines.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to SOPs and regulations while maintaining thorough, accurate records.
Clinical Review: Evaluate patient histories and prescriptions to confirm correct dosage, form, and therapeutic use.
Patient Counseling: Educate patients on medications, supplements, and potential side effects to promote safe use.
Qualifications for the Pharmacist (Dispensing & Compliance):
Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited college of pharmacy required.
Licensure: Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Pennsylvania is required.
Experience: Prior experience in dispensing operations and regulatory compliance, with compounding experience preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), The Compounder (PK Software), and familiarity with QS-1 and third-party billing systems.
Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented and organized with strong time management, communication skills, and a collaborative, solution-focused approach in fast-paced settings.
