Job Overview – Pediatric RN (Per Diem):
Compensation: $58 – $62/hour
Location: Staten Island, NY
Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Join our client as a Pediatric RN (Per Diem) in Staten Island, NY, providing high-quality overnight care for pediatric patients. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive nursing services, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred for accurate documentation. This per diem position offers flexibility, growth, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in pediatric healthcare.
Responsibilities as the Pediatric RN (Per Diem):
Patient Care: Provide exceptional nursing care to pediatric patients, maintaining the highest clinical standards.
Documentation: Record and update patient information accurately in Meditech EMR and other required systems.
Team Collaboration: Partner with physicians, nurses, and support staff to deliver coordinated patient care.
Adaptability: Float to other units as needed, aligning with competencies and staffing requirements.
Professionalism: Maintain compliance with dress code standards and represent the organization with professionalism.
Qualifications for the Pediatric RN (Per Diem):
Licensure: Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Certification: Active BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in pediatric nursing required.
Technical Skills: Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.
Skills & Attributes: Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
