Job Overview - Pediatric Nurse (LPN):
Join our client’s care team as a Pediatric Nurse in Southeast, NY, providing compassionate, high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients and their families. As a key team member, you’ll coordinate with healthcare providers to deliver seamless care, support clinical procedures, and engage actively in patient and family education.
Compensation: $37/hour
Location: Southeast, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Responsibilities as the Pediatric Nurse (LPN):
Patient Care: Provide direct nursing care and respond to patient needs over the phone or in person following established standards.
Care Coordination: Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure well-coordinated, patient-centered care.
Clinical Support: Assist physicians and providers with clinical procedures, maintaining a safe and organized environment.
Education: Support patient and family education to enhance understanding of care plans, medications, and overall health.
Qualifications for the Pediatric Nurse (LPN):
Licensure: New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current NYS registration required.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
Experience: 1Â year as an LPN or 2 years as a Medical Assistant in a related practice area.
Certification: CPR/BLS certification preferred.
Skills: Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
