Job Overview - Pediatric Dentist:
Step into the role of Pediatric Dentist with our client in Naples, FL, delivering comprehensive dental care to children in a primary care setting. You’ll provide preventive and restorative treatments, ensuring children's oral health while maintaining high standards of ethics and professionalism.

Compensation: $200,000 - $240,000/year
Location: Naples, FL
Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday


Responsibilities as the Pediatric Dentist:
  • Examinations: Conduct oral examinations of hard and soft tissue to diagnose dental conditions using x-rays, dental instruments, and other diagnostic procedures.
  • Treatment: Perform cleanings, restorations, extractions, and replacements of teeth using dental appliances, medications, and surgical equipment as needed.
  • Preventive & Restorative Care: Provide treatment plans for dental conditions such as tooth decay, gum disease, and malformations.
  • Screening: Perform oral cancer examinations and interpret radiographs.
  • Anesthesia: Administer moderate conscious sedation and restorative procedures under general anesthesia for healthy or medically compromised children.
  • Supervision: Oversee and evaluate dental students and residents during their rotations.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all treatment protocols.
Qualifications for the Pediatric Dentist:
  • Education: Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) required.
  • Licensure: Current Florida dental license required.
  • Board Certification: Board certification in Pediatric Dentistry required.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of Pediatric Dentistry experience, including familiarity with nitrous oxide, oral sedation, IV sedation, and/or general anesthesia.
  • Certifications: Current CPR and PALS certifications required (assistance with obtaining available).
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Denticon system preferred.
  • Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills, organizational ability, problem-solving aptitude, and excellent written communication skills.
