Job Overview – Patient Services Coordinator (Scheduling)
Compensation: $23 – $27/hour (Dependent on Experience)
Location: Brooklyn, NY (In-Office)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Patient Services Coordinator (Scheduling) in Brooklyn, NY for our client, supporting scheduling, coordination, and operational workflows within a home care environment. This role focuses on managing caregiver schedules, maintaining communication with clinical teams, and ensuring consistent patient coverage. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience working with scheduling systems and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities as the Patient Services Coordinator (Scheduling):
  • Scheduling Coordination: Develop and manage daily schedules for caregivers to ensure full patient coverage and efficient staffing.
  • Communication: Serve as a central point of contact between caregivers, internal teams, and external partners to coordinate care needs and updates.
  • Issue Resolution: Address scheduling conflicts, attendance issues, and caregiver concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of schedules, attendance, incidents, and staffing metrics.
  • Compliance Support: Monitor caregiver requirements and support adherence to regulatory and internal standards.
  • Administrative Support: Perform general office tasks including data entry, reporting, and coordination of operational workflows.

Qualifications for the Patient Services Coordinator (Scheduling):
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is required or equivalent experience is accepted.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in staffing coordination, scheduling, or healthcare operations is required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of home care operations and healthcare compliance requirements is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software is required.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong organization, multitasking ability, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are required.
