Job Overview – Overnight Staff Pharmacist: Compensation: $120,000 – $135,000/year
Location: Little Rock, AR
Schedule: Full-Time, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Overnight)
Join our healthcare client’s team in Little Rock, AR, as an Overnight Staff Pharmacist, leading pharmacy operations in a long-term care setting. This full-time night shift role involves overseeing medication dispensing, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supervising pharmacy technicians for accurate, timely delivery. Best suited for an Arkansas-licensed pharmacist with experience in retail or long-term care who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
Responsibilities as the Overnight Staff Pharmacist:
Pharmacy Oversight: Manage all overnight pharmacy operations, ensuring accurate medication verification and regulatory compliance.
Team Supervision: Oversee pharmacy technicians, monitor licensure, and provide training and support as needed.
Inventory Control: Maintain medication inventory, process returns, and manage emergency kits (E-Kits) efficiently.
Medication Delivery: Ensure safe, timely delivery, proper labeling, and secure storage of all medications.
Compliance & Scheduling: Handle technician scheduling, complete administrative tasks, and maintain adherence to pharmacy regulations.
Qualifications for the Overnight Staff Pharmacist:
Licensure: Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the State of Arkansas required.
Experience: 1+ years of experience in retail, hospital, or long-term care pharmacy settings preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficient in pharmacy software systems and medication management tools, with the ability to oversee inventory control and ensure regulatory compliance tracking.
Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented, reliable, and organized with strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently during overnight hours.
