Job Overview - Outpatient Therapist:
Our thriving healthcare client in Philadelphia is seeking an Outpatient Therapist to support the healthy development of children, youth, and families. This vital role involves providing individual and family therapy.
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Compensation: $25/hour
Schedule: Flexible Hours
Responsibilities as the Outpatient Therapist:
- Client Communication: Maintain therapy appointments, follow up on cancellations, obtain necessary signatures on paperwork.
- Weekly Reporting: Report the need for continuing treatment correspondence weekly.
- Direct Care: Provide child-centered, family-focused therapy, document therapy sessions and progress notes, and intervene during crises.
- Coordination: Schedule meetings with consumer guardians to complete treatment plans.
Qualifications for the Outpatient Therapist:
- Education: Master's Degree in a clinical mental health discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year full-time paid experience in the mental health field.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of clinical issues relating to children, adolescents, and families. Familiarity with child-serving systems.
