Job Description
Role Overview:
We are seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon to join our client's growing roster to care for patients with orthopedic injuries and assist in pain management.
Compensation: $400,000.00 - $450,000.00
Location: New York Metropolitan Area
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm OR 10 am - 6 pm

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and provide appropriate diagnoses
- Perform necessary surgical and medical procedures
- Thoroughly examine medical history, test results, imagery to diagnose and create treatment plans
- Carefully operate to treat, repair or improve joint, bone, and ligament function
- Ensure patient understanding of diagnosis; provide relevant information
- Discuss treatment options openly, considering all options
- Document evaluations, treatments, and medications per policies
- Monitor patient progress during and after treatments/surgery
- Prescribe, administer, dispense medications properly
- Share expertise to ensure best patient care
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible/Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
- Medical Degree from Accredited University
- New York Medical License
- 5+ Years experience
- Previous clinical experience as PM&R (Preferred)
- Previous experience with work/motor vehicle injuries (Preferred)
- Workers Compensation Authorized
- Knowledge of No-Fault and Workers Comp laws/regulations
- Willing to travel to locations in NYC
