Job Overview – Office Manager (OASAS Program):
Compensation: $26 – $28/hour
Location: Staten Island, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM


Our client is hiring an Office Manager for an OASAS-certified program in Staten Island, NY, responsible for overseeing administrative operations, facility compliance, inventory, and insurance coordination. Ideal candidates have healthcare or behavioral health experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional workflows while ensuring regulatory standards and day-to-day efficiency.

Responsibilities as the Office Manager (OASAS Program):
  • Administrative Support: Screen clients for entitlements, submit HRA applications, and maintain insurance records in the EHR system.
  • Facility Operations: Oversee building safety, coordinate repairs, and ensure cleanliness of shared spaces in collaboration with housekeeping.
  • Inventory Management: Track office, medical, and program supplies, submitting timely purchase orders and requisitions.
  • Food Safety & Backup Coverage: Ensure compliance with food safety protocols and assist with food prep and distribution as needed.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Conduct fire drills, maintain safety logs, and complete required reports, including OASAS discharges and petty cash reconciliation.
Qualifications for the Office Manager (OASAS Program):
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of clerical, administrative, or office management experience in a healthcare or social services setting.
  • Licensure/Certification: NYC Food Handler Certification required; must be Justice Center cleared to work with this population.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and electronic health record systems.
  • Skills & Attributes: Excellent communication skills with the ability to multitask, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate effectively with clients, staff, and vendors.
