Join our client's team as an Office Administrative Clerk, where your skills will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional patient care. In this dynamic position, you will manage phone inquiries, resolve medication order issues, and offer essential clerical support in a vibrant healthcare environment.

Location: Juneau County, WI
Compensation: $15-$17/hour
Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (Rotating Saturdays)


Responsibilities as the Office Administrative Clerk:
  • Phone Support: Answer pharmacy calls, troubleshoot queries from caregivers, and resolve incomplete medication orders.
  • Clerical Tasks: Assist with minor billing functions and perform other assigned duties.
  • Medication Management: Understand the difference between generic and name-brand drugs; use critical thinking to investigate unfamiliar medications.
  • Administrative Assistance: Provide general administrative support, such as going to the post office and assisting with various tasks as needed.
Qualifications for the Office Administrative Clerk:
  • Healthcare Background: Experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of Medications: Basic understanding of medications, including generic vs. name-brand drugs.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and investigative mindset.
  • Phone Etiquette: Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Certification Willingness: Willingness to get certified as a Pharmacy Technician within 3-6 months.
