TAG MedStaffing is hiring multiple School-Based Occupational Therapists in New York, NY to join our growing network of school-based clinicians across New York City. This role supports students with fine motor skills, sensory processing, classroom participation, and IEP-based occupational therapy services during the upcoming school year. New graduates are welcome to apply with an active permanent Occupational Therapy license!
Responsibilities as the Occupational Therapist (School-Based):
Therapy Delivery:Â Provide occupational therapy services in individual and group settings aligned with IEP requirements.
Skill Development:Â Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills for classroom success.
IEP & Documentation:Â Maintain accurate records, prepare progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings.
Qualifications for the Occupational Therapist (School-Based):
Education: Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field is required.
Licensure:Â Active New York State Occupational Therapy license is required.
Certification:Â NBCOT certification is required, with an active NPI number preferred.
Experience:Â School-based or relevant clinical experience is preferred, and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
