Role Overview:
The occupational therapist will evaluate and treat children with developmental disabilities across our client’s New York programs. In this role, the ideal candidate will help young patients gain skills, independence, and confidence through customized interventions.
Compensation: $42.00 - $45.00 / HR
Location: Throughout Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens & Staten Island
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am – 3 pm (Flexible Days for Some Sites)
Responsibilities:
• Conducting occupational evaluations and assessments on students
• Creating evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individuals
• Administering interventions focused on building life skills
• Fitting adaptive devices like splints and braces
• Documenting progress, modifying approaches as needed
• Training staff on therapeutic techniques and protocols
Qualifications:
• Masters in Occupational Therapy
• Active license to practice in NYS
• 1+ years’ experience preferred
• Strong communication and analytical skills
