Job Overview:
Join our client's team as an Occupational Therapist and provide crucial services to pediatric and adult individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is a temporary-to-permanent position with opportunities for growth.
Compensation: $48.00 - $51.00 / HR Location: New York City Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday
Responsibilities:
Instruct and provide training on home therapeutic programs and/or assistive devices to eliminate or reduce areas of deficit
Utilize electronic health records for contemporaneous documentation
Meet productivity expectations to ensure efficient service delivery
Participate in scheduled supervision, patient communication, and coordination of care with the interdisciplinary team to enhance the quality of life for clients
Qualifications:
Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the State of New York
Graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program approved by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
Minimum of one (1) year of Occupational Therapy experience in a healthcare setting, working with individuals with intellectual and developmental delays
Ability to work effectively with limited on-site supervision
