Job Description
Job Overview: Adult Nurse Practitioner
We are seeking highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to work for both part-time and full-time positions in our clients Cancer Infusion Center. The NPs will be responsible for a broad range of primary care services in accordance with the American Nurses Association's standards and the hospital's mission and values.
Location: White Plains, NY
Compensation: $117,000 - $175,000/ year
Schedule: 9 AM - 7 PM or 8 AM - 1 PM, Monday To Friday
Responsibilities as the Adult Nurse Practitioner:
- Conduct health assessments, including patient history and physical exams.
- Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret test results.
- Develop and evaluate plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Prescribe medications and therapies.
- Educate patients and families on health management.
- Document care in a timely and comprehensive manner.
- Engage in professional development activities, including education of healthcare professionals and students.
Qualifications for the Adult Nurse Practitioner:
- Current New York State Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Relevant experience, particularly in a Cancer Infusion Center or a related specialty.
- Commitment to professional ethics, collaborative practice, and patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and education abilities.
- Must meet the clinical competencies specific to the unit of assignment, as well as core competencies.
