Job Overview - Nurse Practitioner (Neonatal):
Join our client’s team as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, where you will provide expert care for newborns and NICU patients. This temporary role involves covering unit responsibilities, attending high-risk deliveries, and collaborating with neonatal teams to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
Location: Arizona, AZ (Phoenix or Tucson)
Compensation: $85/hour
Schedule: 7 AM to 7 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Nurse Practitioner (Neonatal):
Unit Coverage: Provide care for newborns and NICU patients, with high-acuity cases transferred as needed.
Newborn Nursery Support: Assist with newborn nursery duties, including follow-up care from the first 24 hours of life through discharge.
NICU Oversight: Cover NICU responsibilities and collaborate with neonatologists to manage patient care.
Qualifications for the Nurse Practitioner (Neonatal):
Certification: Must be Board Certified and NNP Certified.
Licenses and Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, NCCPA, NPI, NRP, PALS, and AZ License DEA required.
Experience: Relevant neonatal experience required, with a clean background and malpractice history.
Documentation: Must submit EPA and NPDB with the application.
