Job Overview – Nurse Practitioner (Dialysis)
Compensation: $100,000 – $110,000/year
Location: Tampa, FL 
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM


TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Nurse Practitioner (Dialysis) in the Tampa–St. Petersburg Metropolitan Area, FL for our client, supporting patient care, dialysis treatment management, and nephrology services. In this role, you will provide care across outpatient clinics, dialysis centers, and hospital settings while collaborating with physicians and care teams. You will utilize EMR systems to document care, monitor patient progress, and support treatment planning for patients with chronic kidney conditions.

Responsibilities as the Nurse Practitioner (Dialysis):
  • Patient Care Delivery: Provide patient care across outpatient clinics, dialysis centers, and hospital settings.
  • Clinical Assessment & Treatment: Evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and manage ongoing dialysis care.
  • Dialysis Management: Monitor dialysis treatments and ensure adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards.
  • Care Coordination: Collaborate with physicians and care teams to support continuity of care and outcomes.
  • Documentation & EMR Usage: Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems to support clinical and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications for the Nurse Practitioner (Dialysis):
  • Education: Master’s degree in Nursing required, with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience required, including dialysis experience, with nephrology experience preferred.
  • Licensure: Active Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Florida is required.
  • Certification: National Nurse Practitioner certification is required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of dialysis treatment protocols and chronic kidney disease management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in EMR systems required, with the ability to document and manage patient records efficiently.
  • Skills & Attributes: Demonstrates strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
