Position Overview:
A behavioral health group in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, is seeking a psychiatric nurse practitioner to provide compassionate mental health care across multiple locations. The role involves assessments, treatment planning, medication management, referrals, education, and supporting operations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
Compensation: W2 $90.00 - $103.00/HR | 1099: $103.00 - $117.00 / HR
Location: Clearfield County, Pennsylvania
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am – 4 pm
Responsibilities:
• Obtain mental health histories
• Perform psychiatric assessments
• Order necessary labs/testing
• Develop patient treatment plans
• Prescribe medications within NP scope of practice
• Provide patient education
• Coordinate care with specialists
• Document encounters thoroughly
Qualifications:
• Valid Pennsylvania NP license
• Psychiatric certification (PMHNP-BC)
• Active DEA registration
• 1+ years of psych experience
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
