Role Overview:
Our client, a network of centers delivering affordable care across the Bronx, is seeking a Nurse Manager to oversee nursing practice and clinical teams supporting operations at two locations. The ideal candidate will lead nurses and support staff workflows, implement quality and safety initiatives, ensure positive health outcomes, and promote improvements through a care delivery model tailored to underserved community needs.
Compensation: $103,000.00
Location: Bronx, New York
Responsibilities:
• Hiring, managing, and mentoring nurses and clinical staff
• Ensuring timely adherence to documentation policies
• Conducting quality assurance audits and data reviews
• Overseeing diagnostics, health informatics, and labs
• Assessing patients and providing direct nursing care
• Training staff on equipment protocols and procedures
• Recommending enhancements aligned to population needs
• Partnering closely with executive leadership
Qualifications:
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred
• 3-5 years nursing management experience
• Licensed RN in New York State
• Strong leadership and communication talents
• Passion for community health and serving the underinsured
