Job Overview - Mobile Therapist:
Our client is seeking a passionate Mobile Therapist to join their healthcare team in supporting the healthy development of children, youth, and families.
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Compensation: $28/hour
Schedule: Flexible Hours
Responsibilities as the Mobile Therapist:
- Client Interaction: Promote adaptive skills and relationships, provide crisis intervention, collaborate with treatment teams, develop daily routines, and maintain progress notes.
- Clinical Direction: Offer child-centered, evidence-based psychotherapy, ensure continuity of care, coordinate clinical treatment direction, and assist with medication compliance routines.
- Monitoring: Assess strengths and therapeutic needs, participate in clinical consultations, supervision, and staff training programs.
Qualifications for the Mobile Therapist:
- Education (one of the following):
- Master’s Degree in a clinical mental health discipline with clinical or MH practicum
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification or behavioral analysis certification
- Graduate degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)
- Licensed BSC
- Experience: 1 year of experience in the mental health field with knowledge of clinical issues relating to children, adolescents, and families.
- Familiarity: Knowledge of multiple child-serving systems such as education, juvenile justice, child welfare, mental health, drug and alcohol, health care, and vocational rehab.
