Job Overview – Medical Office Manager (Healthcare Administration):
Compensation: $58,000/year
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM


TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Medical Office Manager (Healthcare Administration) in Philadelphia, PA for our client. This in-office role oversees daily medical practice operations, managing staff, patient flow, and administrative efficiency. You’ll handle recruitment, training, scheduling, and ensure accuracy in billing, coding, and compliance. Ideal candidates have experience in healthcare management, staff supervision, and EMR systems such as Phreesia.

Responsibilities as the Medical Office Manager (Healthcare Administration):
  • Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise office staff while fostering a productive and collaborative work environment.
  • Operations Management: Oversee daily office functions, including scheduling, workflow efficiency, and patient experience.
  • Technology Oversight: Manage EMR systems and Phreesia to ensure accurate data entry and smooth clinical operations.
  • Financial Administration: Monitor budgets, reconcile petty cash, and manage supply orders to maintain cost control.
  • Billing & Compliance: Support billing accuracy, coding compliance, and adherence to healthcare regulations.
Qualifications for the Medical Office Manager (Healthcare Administration):
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience managing a medical office or healthcare facility with direct staff supervision responsibilities.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in EMR systems and office management software (experience with Phreesia preferred).
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical billing, coding, and healthcare operations standards.
  • Skills & Attributes: Exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking skills with a proactive, team-oriented approach and commitment to delivering outstanding patient service.
