Job Overview - Medical Assistant:
Join our Westchester team as a Medical Assistant, where you'll play a crucial role in patient care and clinical support. This position involves direct patient interaction, assisting in procedures, and ensuring smooth communication within the care team.
Location: Westchester, NY
Compensation: $21/hour
Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Medical Assistant:
Provide care to patients through direct contact and telephone communication.
Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure coordinated efforts and patient participation.
Assist physicians and other providers during clinical procedures.
Qualifications for the Medical Assistant:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of clinical experience in a medical office, clinic, or hospital setting, or graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.
Record of prior stable employment and favorable references.
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with recent experience.
Current certification as a medical assistant or eligibility for certification.
Must obtain certification through the CMM M.A exam course if not certified at the time of employment.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
