Job Overview - Medical Assistant:
Our healthcare client is seeking a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant to join their expanding care team. The role involves providing patient care through direct and/or telephone contact, coordinating with other care team members to ensure seamless care delivery, and assisting physicians or other providers with clinical procedures.
Location: Westchester County, NY
Compensation: $25/hour
Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Medical Assistant:
Provide care to patients via direct and/or telephone contact.
Coordinate with other care team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
Assist physicians or other providers with clinical procedures.
Ensure active patient participation in planning and care.
Qualifications for the Medical Assistant:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 1 year of clinical experience in a medical office, clinic, or hospital setting, or a graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.
