Role Overview:
A New York community health center is seeking a Bilingual Medical Assistant to support compassionate care delivery across locations in Westchester County. The ideal candidate will collect vitals, conduct screenings, assist with exams, prepare labs, document visits, answer inquiries, and help provide tailored interventions based on presenting patient needs.
Compensation: $21.00 / HR Location: Westchester County, New York Schedule: 35- 37.5 hours, Full-time
Responsibilities:
• Inputting patient data and visit reasons into EHR
• Gathering health histories and chief complaints
• Preparing exam rooms and equipment
• Assisting providers with office visits and procedures
• Collecting specimens and processing in-house labs
• Sterilizing tools and maintaining clinical areas
• Communicating with nurses and non-clinical staff
• Managing logs, clerical tasks and patient flow
Qualifications:
• Medical Assistant certification
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• 1+ year experience preferred
• Compassionate patient service focus
• Attention to detail and follow up
• Interest in pediatrics or women’s health
