Role Overview:
A leading Philadelphia pediatric and HIV care provider is seeking a Medical Assistant to support care across clinics. Leveraging talents in caring for children, the ideal candidate will obtain vitals, conduct screenings, process labs, give injections, stock rooms, coordinate visits, and promote positive health outcomes through interventions tailored to meet young patients’ unique needs.
Compensation: $24.00 / HR Location: Westchester County, New York Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm
Responsibilities:
• Performing nursing evaluations and care planning
• Administering treatments and medications
• Teaching self-care techniques
• Visiting patients in their residence
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team
• Documenting clear and timely notes
• Ensuring safety and care quality
Qualifications:
• BSN degree preferred; RN required
• 1+ year nursing experience
• Strong communication and assessment skills
• Experience with geriatrics or home health
• Comfortable learning EMR system
• Valid driver’s license
