Role Overview:
A care organization with locations across the Hudson Valley region of New York is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide support care in outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will work closely with providers to room patients, assist with exams and procedures, coordinate prescription fulfillment, ensure smooth clinic flow, and promote positive experiences through tailored interventions based on individuals’ needs.
Compensation: $21.00 / HR Location: Westchester County, New York Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8 am to 5 pm
Responsibilities:
•  Greeting patients and obtaining initial information
•   Preparing exam rooms and equipment
•   Assisting providers with evaluations and procedures
•   Coordinating prescription requests and referrals
•   Documenting visit summary details accurately
•   Managing patient wait times and clinic flow
•   Maintaining clean and well-stocked clinic environment
Qualifications:
•  High school diploma or equivalent
•   Certified Medical Assistant credential
•   1+ years medical assistant experience
•   Exceptional customer service and communication skills
•   Comfort learning new technologies/processes
•   Passion for community health
