Role Overview:
A medical imaging organization is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate machinery and ensure optimal diagnostic quality at their state-of-the-art facility. Leveraging technical abilities and patient care skills, the ideal candidate will explain procedures, capture images, monitor safety, and enable compassionate interactions.
Compensation: $50.00 / HR Location: Bronx, New York Schedule: Monday - Friday from 9 am – 5 pm
Responsibilities:
• Preparing examination rooms and calibrating equipment
• Explaining MRI procedures and answering questions
• Ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Capturing high quality images across anatomies
• Labeling and evaluating diagnostic images
• Communicating protocols to care teams
• Maintaining regulatory compliance
Qualifications:
• MRI Technologist certification
• 1-2 years as an MRI Tech
• Graduated from an AMA-approved program
• Strong technology troubleshooting skills
• Passion for patient-centered interactions
• Bilingual Spanish skills a plus
