Job Overview: Licensed Social Worker
We are seeking a dedicated Social Worker for a full-time, in-person role in Rockville, MD. This position focuses on coordinating residents' stays through admissions, discharge. Ideal for new graduates, the role involves crisis intervention and providing professional social work assistance.
Location: Rockville, MD
Compensation: $65,000/year
Schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Licensed Social Worker:
Assist residents in exercising their rights and inform them of responsibilities.
Obtain and interpret information based on the residents' needs.
Provide care that considers growth, development, and adult health.
Communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
Maintain strong documentation and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
Show patience, understanding, and compassion for residents.
Provide respectful care focused on residents' individual needs.
Qualifications for the Licensed Social Worker:
Bachelor’s degree in social work from an accredited college or university.
Completion of a social work internship required.
Licensed Social Worker (BSW or MSW) in Maryland.
