Job Overview - Licensed Social Worker (LCSW):
Our client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Social Worker (LCSW) to join their team in Montgomery County, MD. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating residents' care throughout the admissions, discharge, and MDS processes.
Compensation: $65,000/year
Location: Montgomery County, MD
Schedule: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Licensed Social Worker:
Resident Rights: Assist residents in exercising their rights and inform them of their responsibilities.
Care Understanding: Demonstrate knowledge of the care required for residents based on their age and health status.
Communication: Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring respectful care that meets individual resident needs.
Documentation: Provide strong documentation skills, ensuring all aspects of care are recorded accurately.
Patient Care: Show patience, understanding, and compassion in all interactions with residents, focusing on their individual needs.
Qualifications for the Licensed Social Worker:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work.
Licensure: Must hold a valid Social Work license (LBSW or LMSW) in the state of Maryland.
