Job Overview - Licensed Practical Nurse (Part-Time):
Seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide essential nursing care and support in New Jersey. This part-time role focuses on ensuring the well-being of individuals served by promoting a consumer-oriented approach to healthcare.
Compensation: $40/hour
Location: Union City, NJ
Schedule: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Licensed Practical Nurse (Part-Time):
Nursing Care: Provide direct nursing care and ensure the general well-being of each individual served.
Medication Administration: Administer medications and complete necessary documentation.
Daily Living Assistance: Support individuals in daily living skills and accompany them to medical appointments and activities.
Documentation: Accurately complete in-house documentation, including logs, reports, and medication administration records.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to build self-esteem and social capital for each individual served.
Vehicle Operation: Operate agency vehicles as needed during shifts.
Qualifications for the Licensed Practical Nurse (Part-Time):
Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing School.
Licensure: Licensed in the State of New Jersey.
Experience: 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
Skills: Basic computer literacy, strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
