Job Overview - Licensed Practical Nurse:
Join our team in Katonah, NY, as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) specializing in Orthopedics. Provide exceptional nursing care to patients through direct and telephone contact, ensuring seamless care delivery and active patient participation.
Location: Katonah, NY
Compensation: $30/hour
Schedule: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
Provide nursing care to patients/significant others via direct and/or telephone contact.
Coordinate with care team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
Assist physicians or other providers with clinical procedures.
Participate in patient teaching to promote understanding and compliance with treatment plans.
Qualifications for the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
New York State (NYS) license with current NYS registration, in good standing.
Record of prior stable employment and/or favorable references.
Minimum of 1 year experience as a licensed practical nurse OR 2 years as a medical assistant in a pertinent practice area.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
