Job Overview - Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Wharton, NJ. This role involves providing direct nursing and care services for individuals with disabilities, teaching them essential skills for independent living, and ensuring their overall well-being.

Location: Wharton, NJ
Compensation: $40/hour
Schedule: 11:00 PM to 9:00 AM, Sunday to Wednesday


Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
  • Nursing Care & Medication: Provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and ensure accurate documentation of treatments and interventions.
  • Daily Living & Medical Support: Assist with daily living skills, accompany individuals to medical appointments, and implement prescribed diets and exercise programs.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Complete all required documentation accurately, including behavioral tracking and incident reports. Adhere to training and compliance standards, such as CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration.
  • Environmental & Team Collaboration: Maintain a clean, safe environment, and work collaboratively with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to support individuals' well-being and self-esteem.
  • Training & Oversight: Assist in training support staff and ensuring compliance with health maintenance and medical treatment procedures.
  • Vehicle Operation & Other Duties: Operate agency vehicles as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications for the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
  • Education & Licensing: Graduate of an accredited Nursing School; LPN. Licensed in the State of New Jersey.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (preferred).
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and transfer 50 pounds; physically able to sit, bend, squat, reach, and stand for extended periods.
  • Skills: Basic computer literacy, proficiency in English communication, and ability to meet deadlines.
