Role Overview:
A community health center in Yonkers, NY, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide care and support medical staff across locations. The ideal candidate will conduct patient interviews, gather health histories, administer treatments, provide education, and promote positive outcomes through tailored interventions based on present needs.
Compensation: $38.00 / HR
Location: Westchester County, New York
Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8/9 am to 5 pm
Responsibilities:
• Interviewing patients and documenting observations
• Collecting health histories and vital signs
• Administering injections, labs, and medications
• Educating patients on self-care topics
• Following up on tests and appointments
• Partnering closely with registered nurses and providers
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Licensed Practical Nurse certification
• Strong communication and documentation abilities
• 1+ years medical or community care experience
• Knowledge of health screening tools
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up
