Job Overview – Licensed Outpatient Therapist:
Compensation: $70,000 – $80,000/year + bonus
Location: Quincy, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)
Our client is seeking a Licensed Outpatient Therapist in Quincy, MA (On-Site) to provide therapy for adolescents and families, with a focus on behavioral health and self-injury. This full-time role involves delivering DBT-based treatment, developing personalized care plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Ideal candidates hold independent licensure, have experience working with youth, and are proficient in EHR documentation.
Responsibilities as the Licensed Outpatient Therapist:
Clinical Treatment: Provide evidence-based therapy (including DBT) to adolescent clients and families, focusing on behavioral health and self-injury.
Collaborative Care: Coordinate with internal teams, external providers, and families to support holistic treatment.
Crisis Management: Address safety concerns and emergencies, ensuring appropriate follow-up and use of community resources.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate, timely records in the EHR system in line with clinical, billing, and licensing standards.
Qualifications for the Licensed Outpatient Therapist:
Education: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Nursing required.
Licensure: Active independent clinical license required (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent in Massachusetts).
Experience: Minimum of 2 years providing outpatient clinical services to adolescents and families, including DBT and experience addressing self-injurious behavior.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record systems and basic computer applications.
Skills & Attributes: Strong communicator with empathy, time management, and the ability to work collaboratively in a flexible, team-based environment.
