Job Overview - Lead Registered Nurse (RN):
Our healthcare client is seeking a dedicated Lead Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee and manage the daily operations of their expanding clinic. This role involves providing direct patient care, coordinating care through assessment and team collaboration, and supervising clinical staff.

Location: Harper County, OK
Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000/year
Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday


Responsibilities as the Lead Registered Nurse (RN):
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to joint commission, patient safety initiatives, and infection control regulations.
  • Staff Competency: Ensure clinical staff maintain competency, continuing education, and certifications.
  • Policy Compliance: Implement and ensure compliance with all RXH and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate wound care center activities, recommending process improvements and efficient facility use.
  • Supply Management: Collaborate with the Program Director to authorize purchases of supplies and equipment.
  • Delegation: Oversee and delegate wound care services to RNs, LPNs, and Technicians.
  • Quality Management: Participate in quality management initiatives, including survey preparation, audits, and patient satisfaction surveys.
  • Patient Care: Develop wound care plans, document progress, and assist with specialized procedures.
  • Clinic Operations: Manage daily clinic operations, including scheduling, protocols, and provider support.
Qualifications for the Lead Registered Nurse (RN):
  • COVID-19 Vaccination: Proof of COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire is required.
  • Licensure: Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
  • Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Experience: Wound care clinic experience and a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
