Job Description


Role Overview:
The lead registered nurse oversees clinic operations, provides direct patient care and care coordination through assessment and collaboration, and organizes and prioritizes clinical staff supervision to facilitate optimal patient care and daily operations under the direction of the program and regional directors. Additional responsibilities include leadership, organizational abilities, wound care, and implementing evidence-based holistic care.

Compensation: $74,000.00 - $78,000.00
Location: Harper County, Oklahoma 
Schedule: Every other Thursday morning and every other Friday evening

Responsibilities:
  • Perform duties as directed by Program Director and other assigned tasks
  • Adhere to the joint commission, patient safety, and infection control regulations
  • Complete hyperbaric chamber operations training within 60 days
  • Ensure staff competency and up-to-date certifications
  • Establish and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Review activities and recommend process improvements
  • Authorize supplies and equipment purchases collaboratively
  • Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process
  • Delegate and oversee services performed by clinical staff
  • Maintain open communication across teams to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Registered Nurse holding current unrestricted nursing license that aligns with state requirements and scope of practice
  • Training and Experience – Possesses wound care clinic experience and a minimum of three years of nursing experience, or a combination thereof
  • Possesses thorough knowledge of evidence-based wound healing standards including etiology assessment, wound bed preparation, and related management strategies; demonstrates ability to assess needs and formulate plans
  • Knowledgeable of policies and procedures governing the wound care organization
  • Possesses and maintains current BLS and ACLS certifications
