Job Overview – LPN (Part-Time):
Become a part of our client’s compassionate team as an LPN (Part-Time), where you'll provide essential nursing and direct care services to individuals with disabilities living in the community. This part-time role is focused on teaching people with developmental disabilities the skills they need to live as independently as possible while ensuring compliance with all relevant state regulations.
Location: Ocean County, NJ
Compensation: $40/hour
Schedule: Flexible Shifts (Part-Time)
Responsibilities as the LPN:
Nursing Care: Ensure the well-being of individuals served, focusing on a consumer-oriented approach to healthcare.
Medication Administration: Administer medication and accurately document all related activities.
Assistance: Support individuals in acquiring daily living skills and accompany them to medical appointments and activities.
Documentation: Complete all necessary in-house documentation accurately, including reports and logs.
Training & Development: Assist in training support staff in health maintenance and medical treatments.
Environment Management: Ensure individuals maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
Transportation: Operate agency vehicles as needed during shifts.
Qualifications for the LPN:
Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing School (LPN).
Experience: 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
Licensure: Licensed in the State of New Jersey.
Driving: Valid Unrestricted Driver’s License.
Skills: Basic computer literacy and strong communication skills in English.
