Job Overview - LPN, Outpatient (Multi-Specialty):
Our trusted healthcare client is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their multi-specialty outpatient team. This flexible role involves providing nursing care to patients, administering medications and treatments, and supporting interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Location: Bronx, NY
Compensation: $36 - $42/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Flexible Shifts)
Responsibilities as the LPN, Outpatient (Multi-Specialty):
Patient Care: Provide nursing care to patients under the direction of a Medical Provider or Registered Professional Nurse.
Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments.
Patient Management: Be aware of and manage population-specific patient needs.
Team Collaboration: Function as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Electronic Medical Records: Utilize electronic medical record (AWC) to document patient information and care.
Qualifications for the LPN, Outpatient (Multi-Specialty):
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
Technical Skills: Ability to utilize electronic medical record (AWC).
Licensure/Certifications: Current NY State LPN License and BLS certification required.
Special Skills: Phlebotomy experience preferred.
