TAG MedStaffing is hiring an LMSW Assistant Program Director (Case Management) in Queens, NY for our client, supporting program operations, clinical supervision, and housing placement initiatives within a community-based services environment. This role focuses on overseeing case management teams, driving outreach efforts, and implementing best-practice interventions to support individuals experiencing homelessness. The position requires strong leadership, collaboration with external partners, and flexibility to support 24/7 program needs.
Responsibilities as the LMSW Assistant Program Director:
Program Leadership: Support oversight of case management and housing placement operations to drive client outcomes.
Staff Supervision: Manage and mentor multidisciplinary teams, including case managers and housing specialists.
Client Care Oversight: Ensure high-quality service delivery, including crisis intervention and client engagement strategies.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with community organizations, government agencies, and service providers.
Care Coordination and Compliance: Oversee service plans, documentation, and adherence to program standards.
Qualifications for the LMSW Assistant Program Director:
Education: Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
Licensure: Active New York State LMSW license is required.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in social services or case management is required.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of housing support models, crisis intervention, and community-based services is required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to manage program documentation systems is required.
Skills & Attributes: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities are required.
