Job Overview - LMSW, Clinical Supervisor:
Our trusted healthcare client is actively seeking an experienced LMSW, Clinical Supervisor to join their team in Bronx, NY. This pivotal role involves managing case assignments, overseeing quality assurance, and providing training and supervision to case managers. The ideal candidate will excel in performance reviews, reporting, and service planning.
Location: Bronx, NY
Compensation: $35/hour
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday to Saturday
Responsibilities as the LMSW, Clinical Supervisor:
Case Management: Assign cases, schedule work, and maintain records and supervision notes.
Quality Assurance and Audits: Oversee quality assurance, perform client chart audits, and ensure compliance with policies.
Training and Supervision: Train new and current case managers, conduct supervisory conferences, and provide oversight to mental health services.
Performance Reviews: Conduct probationary and annual performance reviews for case management staff.
Reporting: Prepare and submit program statistics and reports accurately and timely.
New Client Placement: Supervise the placement of new clients within 30 days of referral.
Service Planning and Benefits Assistance: Ensure comprehensive service plans, assessments, and assist clients in obtaining government benefits.
Psycho-Social Assessments: Complete and monitor assessments for thorough documentation.
Qualifications for the LMSW, Clinical Supervisor:
Education: New York State LMSW in Social Work.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience in case management.
Counseling: Experience in individual, family, and group counseling, especially with HIV/AIDS and mental health populations.
Preferences: Experience in congregate programs, bilingual and bicultural in Spanish preferred.
Skills and Attributes: Extensive knowledge of HIV/AIDS case management, effective organizational and communication skills, ability to multitask, community-minded, and able to interact tactfully with various stakeholders.
