Job Overview - LCSW:
Our thriving healthcare client is actively seeking a dedicated Psychotherapist (LCSW) to provide individual and group therapy services to adults, particularly those with developmental disabilities. This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, developing treatment plans, and engaging in interdisciplinary teamwork to support the holistic well-being of consumers.
Location: Queens, NY
Compensation: $57,000 - $63,000/year
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Saturday (Flexible)
Responsibilities as the LCSW:
Individual Therapy: Provide supportive psychotherapy to assigned caseload.
Group Therapy: Conduct group psychotherapy sessions as needed.
Family Services: Offer family psychotherapy and collateral services based on consumer needs.
Assessments: Conduct comprehensive intake screenings and psychosexual knowledge assessments.
Treatment Planning: Develop meaningful annual and quarterly treatment plans.
Off-Site Services: Conduct home and off-site visits, including psychotherapy and evaluations.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Share clinical information and provide programmatic direction to non-clinical staff.
Documentation: Fulfill all documentation requirements, including billing, statistics, and clinical reports.
Qualifications for the LCSW:
Experience: Experience working with People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD).
Licensure: Must be open to Medicare credentialing.
Skills: Bilingual Spanish preferred.
Technical: Familiarity with EMR System.
